What will you do?

- Assist Allan in his business and personal tasks with the potential to become the “Chief of Staff” or a member in one of his companies – Hired or Talkable.

- Choose countries to travel to, organize trips, find and book flights, hotels.

- Create, systemize, and maintain various google/excel spreadsheets.

- Schedule calendar meetings, lead business correspondence, write emails.

- Answer the phone calls, be in contact with Allan during early mornings and late evenings (Kiev time).

- Find competent professionals for various tasks related to the apartment in Kiev, meet them, organize different activities (e.g., find interior designer, collect mail, store keys, etc.).

Allan Grant has been passionate about software development since writing his first game at age 7. Between ages 13 and 18, Allan earned his 10,000 hours coding online games (in C) with thousands of players. In college, Allan founded a web development company, Webmasters International, and bootstrapped it to profitability with 50+ employees. 

In 2010, Allan co-founded Talkable, the leading social referral platform for e-commerce companies. Talkable is backed by YCombinator, 500Startups, and a group of prominent angel investors. 

In 2012, Allan co-founded Hired, an online marketplace where top companies compete to hire top technical talent, including software engineers, designers, data scientists, and product managers. Hired has raised $130M+ in venture capital.

- You live in Kiev (or very close to Kiev, so that you can go there when needed).

- You have experience of studying/working abroad.

- English level: fluent – you will write emails, schedule appointments, and communicate with people in the U.S.

- Perfect communication skills – both written and oral.

- Availability throughout the day – being online/on phone for Allan when needed, no fixed timetable (most often the communication with Allan will be in the early mornings and late evenings Kiev time, due to the time difference with Florida – during the daytime you may organize your time yourself, study/work/live your life, but be ready to deal with urgent tasks when needed).

- Good knowledge of Excel and Google Spreadsheets – ability to organize a lot of data without asking many clarifying questions.

- Excellent attention to details (as the second sentence in your cover letter please mention what your favorite sport is).

- Openness and being receptive to feedback – you do not take criticism personally but learn from it and constantly grow.

- Independence – you are ready to make decisions on your own.


- Either part-time (4 hours per day, 5/2) or full-time (8 hours per day, 5/2).

- Remote work (but sometimes you need to be in Kiev).

- Constant learning.
