Walden App is the New York-based software company helping to grow coaching businesses and increase retention for individuals and group practices. 

It was founded by Madelin Woods - an independent entrepreneur, engineer, designer, and artist living in New York. Madelin was an early engineer at Square and since then has worked with Facebook, IDEO-org, Intercom, Snap, and many early-stage startups. 

Now Madelin works on Walden's growth and looks for an organized person with strong written communication skills to help taking care of clients and her email inbox. And also, she launches the new project on Kickstarter - a twistable burrito holder! So, will definitely need help with that as well. Thus, if you are ready to challenge yourself and eager to see how the new ideas come into life, that's the right time to apply!

Main tasks:

- Respond to various requests and questions via email or LinkedIn messages (e.g., potential clients receive cold emails and start asking questions in replies – you need to answer them and try to persuade them to work with us).

- Customer support for existing users – answer questions, help to solve problems.

- Make sure to stay on track with follow-up emails – never forget about clients, remind them to answer, etc.

Possible additional tasks:

- Be present during demo calls to be able to follow-up later.

- Maintain and update various spreadsheets.

- Keep onboarding materials up-to-date.

- Help to create videos explaining how to work with the app.

- Manage the CEO’s inbox.

- Support the launch of the new project.

Must have:

- You’re an English Guru! We expect you to have both excellent written and oral English since you’ll be representing the company in the English-speaking world, communicate with native clients and colleagues.

- Perfect communication skills – you know how to compose business emails, formulate ideas clearly, and sell the service via messages. 

- Excellent organization skills and high responsibility – you never leave the client without an answer, follow-up on time, make no mistakes in your writing

- Attention to details – as the third sentence in your cover letter please state whether you prefer chocolates or chewing gums.

- You’re highly motivated to work for a startup.

- You're able to adjust to the EST time zone (that is, to have working hours after 16:00 Moscow time).

Nice to have (would be advantageous, but not required):

- It’s wonderful if you have experience in SMM or know how to catch the client’s eye.

- You know how to work with a photo or video editors (like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or any other).

- You have experience in sales.

- You are interested in coaching.
