Cherry Labs is a team of world-class engineers and data scientists led by 3 experienced co-founders who developed the best-in-class AI-powered monitoring system which found a great fit in the senior care industry as CherryPro - real-time emergency prevention and AI monitoring for different industries.

Cherry Labs was founded in 2016 by developer Maxim Goncharov, managing partner of Gagarin Capital Fund Nikolay Davydov, and former Yandex lead developer Stas Veretennikov. Gagarin Capital was the first investor of the startup at the seed stage. In total, Cherry Labs has raised $6.9 million since its inception, including the last round. Other investors include Yuri Gursky, Impulse VC, and AltaIR Capital. Cherry employs over 20 engineers, AI scientists, and product designers across 6 countries all over the world.
As an example, the company is developing a "smart" system for Cherry Home, which uses artificial intelligence and computer vision technology to track the movements of residents of the house. The system is able to recognize dangerous situations (for example, the fall of one of the family members) and warn their loved ones about them. It can also transmit information to doctors and care professionals. You can read more about it here.

Now, the company is seeking a Business Analyst to join the research team. In this role, you will be working alongside the Product team and engage with process engineering and R&D teams to define and guide end-to-end experiments with AI/computer vision analytics platforms looking for the best solutions for the company’s clients.

What will you do?

— Identify the client’s business needs. Understand current system capabilities and the ways to conduct an experiment within given boundaries. Ensure that experiment is doable within our system. If there are limitations - raise those with a product and technical team.

— Conduct an experiment to prove that the solution suits the client's needs. Set the experiment up, adjust the parameters if necessary, repeat the experiment, and drive it end-to-end till the result.

— Present results in a clear and agreed way, e.g. as a dashboard or video stream, etc., raise new requirements for the system.

— Based on experiments, make an instruction or process documentation that can be used by the other teams. Pass the knowledge to the support team.

— Communicate with the product, technical and support teams as required to get the experiment done.

— Work with a large amount of information and data. Prepare the data for experiments, including videos.
