The founder of Grintern, Anastasia Sartan, is a data scientist, serial female entrepreneur, and a very inspiring person. She lives in California and knows all the needs of the startups better than anyone - she has founded not only the amazing career platform which you are browsing right now (yes-yes, but also two more successful startups: StyleHacks - the Google and Founders Fund-backed startup, leveraging AI, and voice commerce to create a personalized shopping experience; and one of the first largest fashion e-commerce company in Russia, funded by European investors and acquired by in 2013.

Now, Grintern Graduate project is growing rapidly and is looking for an enthusiastic outreach specialist with a great understanding of how US startups work - who will connect with potential clients and establish partnerships to provide young talents with an opportunity to have an amazing career start. Is that you who we are looking for? What will you do?

— Reach out to potential clients via personalized emails or LinkedIn messages to make them interested and persuade them to schedule an online call - you will have to achieve a high conversion rate from the number of sent emails to the number of scheduled meetings.

— Be present on the sales calls. In the beginning, you will be taking notes about the client’s needs during the call in order to lead the client all the way further after the discussion is done - write follow-up emails, answer questions, close the deal. Later, when you are ready, you will hold those clients’ calls on your own.

— Maintain the connection with the current clients - take care of performance management, upsell, organize sessions with our HR coaches when needed, etc.

— Conduct analytics to track how many clients came from which sources, how much time we spend on each deal, how to optimize the process to improve results, etc.

— Collect and formulate use-cases that we can broadcast on our website.

— Fluent English - you should be able to communicate with clients freely (and for sure with no verbal/grammar/spelling/typing mistakes).

— Excellent writing skills - you will communicate with clients via emails and each of your answers should be leading to the achievement of the goal - scheduling the call or closing the deal.

— Excellent verbal communication skills - you know how to talk to Americans, how to do small talks, how to nudge, and how to deal with disagreements. And you are not afraid of talking to the founders of the greatest startups in Silicon Valley.

— Understanding of how US startups work - you have either had experience of working in such a startup or you are keen on that topic and can elaborate on all the specifics.

— Excellent organizational skills - you trach each step in the system, always check that everything is done on time, never forget about clients and proactively follow them up, always put all the needed information into the needed folders/databases, etc. By the way, as the second sentence in your cover letter, please mention what your favorite hobby is.

— Mission-sharing - you really care about young talents and their career aspirations, as well as about the startups’ founders’ valuable time, so you want to help those parties to organize a win-win situation.

— Orientation on results - you will have to achieve your target goals and monthly KPIs.

— Persistence -  you do not hesitate to write follow-up emails when potential clients are not answering, and you will continue reaching out to them until you get a clear yes/no response.

— Opportunity to adjust to the PST time zone and work at least till 23:00 Moscow time.


— You know how automatization works, so you can set automatic emails, connect the CRM system to Gmail and Google Calendar, etc.

— You are creative and catch the interest of the clients through good story-telling about our company and personalized and interesting emails.


— Full-time employment (8 working hours per day, 5/2). You need to be available from 6 pm to 11 pm Moscow time for sure, the rest of the working hours are flexible.

— Remote work. You may be located in any country or city, as all of our team members are, but we are super-friendly so if we live in the same city, we will be happy to meet in coworking spaces after the COVID-19 situation is resolved.
