The founder of Grintern, Anastasia Sartan, is a data scientist, serial female entrepreneur, and a very inspiring person. She lives in California and knows all the needs of the startups better than anyone - she has founded not only the amazing career platform which you are browsing right now (yes-yes, grintern.ru) but also two more successful startups: StyleHacks - the Google and Founders Fund-backed startup, leveraging AI, and voice commerce to create a personalized shopping experience; and one of the first largest fashion e-commerce company in Russia, funded by European investors and with an acquisition offer from Asos.com in 2013.

Now, Grintern Graduate is growing rapidly and is looking for an outreach specialist who will research the companies for potential partnerships and connect with them to make them interested in providing young talents with an opportunity to have an amazing career start.

What will you do?

Research and find US startups that could potentially be interested in hiring talents for junior positions. 

Reach out to those potential clients via template-based (with some personalization) emails or LinkedIn messages to make them interested and persuade them to schedule an online call with our sales manager. You will have to achieve a high conversion rate from the number of sent emails to the number of scheduled meetings.

Conduct analytics to track how many clients came from which sources, how much time we spend on each deal, test hypotheses to optimize the process and to improve results, etc.

— Help the team with other possible tasks (for example, maintaining the CRM system, helping with some spreadsheets or documents).

Требования

“Must-haves”:

Fluent written English - you should be able to communicate with clients in a written way freely (and for sure with no grammar/spelling/typing mistakes).

Excellent writing skills - you will communicate with clients via emails or LinkedIn messages and each of your answers should be leading to the achievement of the goal - making them interested and scheduling the call with our sales manager.

Excellent organizational skills - you track each step in the system, always check that everything is done on time, never forget about clients and proactively follow them up, always put all the needed information into the needed folders/databases, etc. 

Persistence and result-orientation -  you do not hesitate to write follow-up emails when potential clients are not answering, and you will continue reaching out to them until you get a clear yes/no response.

Routine tolerance - you are fine spending many hours doing research, sending out emails, or working with spreadsheets. 

— Opportunity to adjust to the PST time zone and sometimes work in the evenings (Moscow time).


“Nice-to-haves”:

— You have an understanding of how US startups work - you have either had experience of working in such a startup or you are keen on that topic and can elaborate on the specifics.

— You know how automatization works, so you can set automatic emails, connect the CRM system to Gmail and Google Calendar, etc.

— You are creative and catch the interest of the clients through good story-telling about our company and personalized and interesting emails.

What we offer:

Part-time employment (4 working hours per day, Monday-Friday) with an opportunity to grow to full-time. Please note that we support a desire to combine work with studies, however, we will not consider applicants who want to combine several jobs.

— In the beginning, you will have to be available from 19:00 to 23:00 Moscow time for onboarding purposes. Further, as soon as you become autonomous, there will be an opportunity to have flexible working hours.

Fully remote work. You may be located in any country or city, as all of our team members are (yes, we’ve started working remotely before it became mainstream haha).
