Grintern is a team of enthusiastic people who provide young aspiring talents with the opportunities to get a great career start in the startups of Silicon Valley and other US-based companies.

Websites to get to know us better:

Our mission is based on our belief that GenZ can master their skills and show great performance even without having previous working experience - they are ready to learn quickly and work hard, so they only need a little help with a chance to prove themselves. We give them that chance! We connect with high-potential US startups that need help and are ready to take a junior member to their team and organize those win-win situations. And you’ll be surprised - our whole process from discussing the client’s needs to the new team member’s first working day takes no longer than 2 weeks!

The founder of Grintern, Anastasia Sartan, is a data scientist, serial female entrepreneur, and a very inspiring person. She lives in California and knows all the needs of the startups better than anyone - she has founded not only the amazing career platform which you are browsing right now (yes-yes, but also two more successful startups: StyleHacks - the Google and Founders Fund-backed startup, leveraging AI, and voice commerce to create a personalized shopping experience; and one of the first largest fashion e-commerce company in Russia, funded by European investors and with an acquisition offer from in 2013.

By the way, recently, Anastasia took part in Xenia Sobchak’s movie about women in Silicon Valley - check it out here if you have not watched it yet:

Now, Grintern is growing rapidly and is looking for a junior recruiter who will be selecting talents for the best candidate-client matches and providing young people with an opportunity to have an amazing career start.

Is that you who we are looking for? Apply now!

What will you do?

— Communicate with US startups’ founders that are interested in hiring talents for junior positions.

— Conduct structured interviews to assess the candidates based on the client’s needs and requirements. All the interviews are held in English.

— Select the best-fit candidates, fill in the showcase spreadsheet for a client to demonstrate why exactly those candidates were chosen.

— Moderate client-talent interviews and help clients to make a final decision.

— Maintain Applicant Tracking System and various databases during the whole process to track each step and all the needed information.

Why join Grintern?

— You will work for an inspiring mission and with a very enthusiastic and engaged team of people who love what they are doing and perform tasks in order to improve themselves and the project.

— You will work and communicate with clients who create successful startups on the American market.

— You will maximize your communication and professional skills and get a unique opportunity to understand how processes in startups work.

— Fluent written and spoken English - you will be representing Grintern for both clients and talents, so we are looking for a person for whom grammar/spelling/typing/other mistakes are not tolerable.

— At least some experience in HR or recruitment - you need to know how to assess various skills/traits, feel confident about two-way communication with candidates (not only asking them questions but answering their questions as well), feel confident representing and justifying your choice to a client, etc.

— Interest in psychology, recruitment, and HR, and desire to develop in those spheres.

— Passion to communicate - seriously, there will be a looooot of communication (both oral and written), and we definitely look for a person who will only get more and more energetic after spending 8 hours per day communicating.

— Empathy and love to people - if you are a person who can sincerely adore other people (but at the same time critically think and see potential drawbacks), that’s your role.

— Persistence - you do not hesitate to persuade clients to make hiring decisions, always write follow-up emails when they are not answering, etc.

— Excellent organizational skills - you track each step in the system, always check that everything is done on time, never forget about clients or talents, proactively follow them up, always put all the needed information into the needed folders/databases, etc. We have a fast-paced environment, are you ready for that?

— Super attention to detail - we love when everything is structured and double-checked. Does your eye start twitching when you see a double space or a missing comma?

— You have an understanding of how startups work - you have either had experience of working in a startup or you are keen on that topic and can elaborate on the specifics.

Working hours:

— Our candidates live in Eastern European countries, so all of the interviews happen during the daytime.

— Our clients live in the USA (mostly PST time zone), so all of the calls with them happen during the evenings due to the time difference (for example, 9 am for a client is 8 pm Moscow time).

— So, our team has to be available for both candidates and clients and adjust to such a schedule. For example, some of us prefer to work from 2 to 10 pm (Moscow time), others divide hours and have a break in the middle of the day, etc. So, you’ll definitely have to work in the evenings but the rest of the working hours may be chosen by your preference.

— Full-time employment.

— Fully remote work. You may be located in any country or city, as all of our team members are (yes, we’ve started working remotely before it became mainstream haha).

— Opportunity to start a career in an international company with an inspiring mission.

— Opportunity to learn from a talented team of people who love their job.

— Opportunity to see the results of your work, contribute and help Grintern achieve new heights.

— Horizontal growth within the company, opportunity to manage the new projects of interest - this is not an internship or project work, we consider only the candidates looking for a 2+ years commitment.
