The history of the company began with college friends Zaheer Mohiuddin and Zuhayeer Musa who graduated and began to look for a job in the software industry. There was enough factual information about vacancies, but the main question that bothered recent graduates was how much did employees in this industry earn? Of course, information on this issue is often hidden by technology companies, so friends came up with the idea - why not start a company that will provide potential candidates with such information? So, this is where the story of began!

  • Since 2017, this Californian startup has helped more than 300.000 people around the world to choose the right career path.

  • Nowadays, the founders work in the finance field – you’ll be able to find more about such giants as Morgan Stanley or Goldman Sachs on the website.

  • One of the founders - Zaheer Mohiuddin - started TagsForLikes (6.5 million users) - a site & app to help people get more visibility on Instagram – what could be better than working with such a professional?

What will you do?

  • Research tasks: collect data on a particular task (search for data about a company’s structure, benefits of working in this company, etc. and systemize all the information); 

  • Assist your colleagues in recruiting and sourcing functions;

  • Administrative tasks: schedule team members’ meetings, work with spreadsheets, help the team do additional research, structure the information and data collected;

  • Write blog posts for the company’s blog and create engaging content on different topics (i.e. What does the career path look like for a software engineer? or How does compensation at Amazon work?)

  • Requirements: 

    Fluent English: you should be able to conduct research in English and search for information, as well as write texts for the company’s blog on a given topic;

  • Comprehensive skills are required: you should be able to understand if the information is relevant or not; understand various aspects of the task, and be able to conduct both research and administrative work;

  • Be able to work with Google-Suite;

  • Diligence - you will be conducting researches, we need you to be able to always try to find new sources of information and go through all avenues. 

  • Be a quick learner - it's impossible to know everything, we get it, but we want you to be ready to dive into processes you never faced before and be ready to learn some software or programs that you've never used.

  • Self-reliance & autonomy - you can independently organize your own work, set goals, and achieve results. 

  • Be a proactive team player who's not afraid to speak up your own opinion - seriously, the company is looking for a person with many ideas, not just an executor.

  • Ability to adjust to the PST time zone (that is, sometimes to have working hours after 17:00 Moscow time).

 Not necessary, but will be a plus:
